About

From the team behind
Cork & Pig Tavern.

Same chefs, same hospitality, now at The Summit Center in Midland.

Our story

Great wine, good food,
and old friends.

Cork & Pickle started the way Cork & Pig Tavern did: with friendship and a shared love for great wine and delicious food. Chefs Felipe Armenta, John Nestor, Virginia Dalbeck, and Ed Buenaventura met in California in the early 2000s.

In 2010, Felipe, John, and Virginia returned to Felipe's hometown of San Angelo, Texas, to open the first Cork & Pig. With the success of that first location, the chefs partnered with Ed to open more in Odessa, Irving, Midland, Southlake, Abilene, and Willow Park, along with their sister restaurant, Red Oak Kitchen.

Cork & Pickle brings that same chef-driven food and hospitality to The Summit Center in Midland, with a big, social bar and courtside seats next to the Pickleball Pavilion.
